As Pakistan's top English language comic Saad was also the first comedian to undertake a English language comedy tour of Pakistan entitled 'SAAD HAROON: VERY LIVE!'
The show and the journey were filmed and made into a television show for PLAY TV. The same show has since been performed in several countries including the UAE and the US.
Saad is currently performing his second solo stand-up comedy show 'Saad Haroon: This is Stand-up comedy!' in 2010!
Saad is the creator of Pakistan’s first improvisational comedy troupe ‘BlackFish’, which besides huge success in Pakistan was also chosen to represent Pakistan in an international theatre project in Manchester, England.
In 2008 Saad Created a new improvisational troupe SHARK, which was also trained in the art of long form improvisation, and debuted with a tour of Pakistan.
Saad Has studied improvisation at the UCB theatre in New York and he still teaches improvisational theatre and holds workshops for different corporations and multinationals.
You can also see saad perform his comedy at the Open Mic Night which he started 3 years ago- an evening every month in which you can come sign up and have five minuets to perform your heart out.
Saad has also recently written part of a radio play for the BBC entitled ‘Bora Bistra’ and was also chosen to take part in the World Wide Jam, a BBC film project twinning a writer and a film maker from different parts of the world together to make a short film to be shown in a BBC festival.
A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Saad holds a degree in communications and is also a winner of the ‘WORD’ scriptwriting competition. Since then he has continued to learn and teach and has taken part in many International festivals including the International Festival for Emerging Artists in London.
