Open Mic Night is an event held every month to give performance artists a platform from which to voice new work. It is not a show, but a vehicle that can be used to test new work on a small receptive audience.  

The process of developing new work is a long arduous one and in Pakistan opportunities to test this work are hard to come by, so Open Mic Night aims to give artists a place to perform and a casual environment and feedback from an audence which includes many other artists. 

Open Mic Night is not limited to musicians and comedians only, but also to any aspiring writers, poets, jugglers, lion tamers, or travelers that would like to come share their art with us, and to become part of a wider artistic community.

I especially encourage younger adults who are in need of an audience and some exposure to shake out their lethargy that has become commonplace in Pakistan, take out that old notebook and dream of being a rock star once more! People need a pedestal from which to bounce their creative ideas and work off of…and this is hopefully it. No more excuses, resistance is futile…
